• Al Amal School are the 2026 national school robotics champions

  Al Amal Renaissance from Al Amal School won the 2026 National School Robotics Championship, beating Salalah Falcons 168 to 161 in the final. Nizwa Minds took the award for best engineering design and Sohar Engineers the award for best programming. Congratulations to every school that took part; certificates can be verified with the code printed on them.

• Group stage complete: eight teams through

  The group stage ended on 19 September. Through to the national knockout: Al Amal Renaissance and Al Noor Stars (Muscat), Salalah Falcons and Mirbat Geniuses (Dhofar), Suwaiq Robotics and Sohar Engineers (North Al Batinah), Nizwa Minds and Bahla Creators (Ad Dakhiliyah). Muscat was decided on score difference after a three-way tie.

• National School Robotics Championship 2026 begins

  The National School Robotics Championship starts on Saturday 5 September with 16 school teams from four governorates: Muscat, Dhofar, North Al Batinah and Ad Dakhiliyah. The top two in each group go through to the national knockout in Muscat on 26 September.
