Deleting your connected social accounts
This page explains what happens when you disconnect a social media account from Asabya League, or ask Meta to delete the data our app holds about you.
What gets deleted
- Every Facebook Page and Instagram account you connected through Asabya League is disconnected.
- The access tokens we held for those accounts are erased. We can no longer publish to them, and cannot read anything from them.
- Any post still waiting for approval, or approved but not yet sent, is cancelled and never published.
What is not deleted
Your competition data (leagues, fixtures, results, standings) belongs to the organization that created it, not to your personal social media identity, so it is untouched. To delete an organization's data, or your Asabya League account itself, contact us and we will remove it.
How to disconnect at any time
- In Asabya League, open Settings and find “Publish to social media”.
- Click Disconnect next to the account you want removed. This takes effect immediately.
- You can also remove Asabya League from your Facebook settings, under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites. Meta then notifies us and we perform the same deletion automatically.
